GRANGER, Frank Raymond

Longtime resident of Pitt Meadows, BC passed away on April 19, 2010 after a brief illness. Born in Carlyle, SK on August 25, 1918, Frank is predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Signe (nee Austring) in May 2001. Survived by his family of five children: Karen (Bob) Reid, Raymond (Judy), Norman (Louise), Janet (Greg) Dickie, and Clark (Sherrilea); ten grandchildren: Roxanne, Geordan, Stacey, Christopher, Travis, Tellina, Karla, Devan, Kyle and Stephanie; and four great-grandchildren: Liam, Stella, Beau and Amalie, plus numerous other family, friends and neighbours. Frank was one of the founding members of the Golden Ears Curling Rink, and enjoyed playing in both the men’s and mixed leagues until just a few short months ago. He loved to garden, and was always happiest when surrounded by his family. He will be dearly missed. Special thanks to Dr’s Neufeld, Kotylak and Ervin, plus the Nurses of 2 West at Ridge Meadows Hospital. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Frank may be made to the BC Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Society. Memorial Service to be held on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Pitt Meadows United Church (corner of Ford and Harris Roads) with a tea to follow.
