ZIMMARO, Frank Alexander
May 28, 1961 - September 1, 2016
Born in Prince George, in 1961, Frank passed away peacefully in Abbotsford Hospital, September 1st, 2016. Survived by his loving wife, Shelley, sons Julian & Marco; mother Filamino; brothers Ed & Kenny; sisters Teresa & Rosina; stepson Myles; and stepdaughter Brooke. Predeceased by his sister, Rosina. Frank was born in Prince George, moved to Squamish in 1968, then to Vancouver in 1984. He resided in Maple Ridge since 1989.
Frank worked at the Squamish Saw Mill in his 20's, Zilix, a medical company in his 30's where he travelled the world. His most recent career for the past 16 years has been with CSA. He attended Kwantlen College and earned a degree in Electronics. He won a provincial championship in Karate, and was an avid tennis player for over 20 years. Frank had an amazing spirit, always smiling, hardworking and loyal. He will be remembered with overwhelming love for his honesty, integrity and generous heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Frank's Home at 22831 Foreman Drive, Maple Ridge, B.C. on Saturday, October 1st, 2016 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. At this time, we would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Paul Galbraith, Dr. Mitchinson, and all the Dr's and nurses at Abbotsford Hospital, for making Franks' transition a peaceful experience.
