WEST ~ Fred
On June 21, 2006, age 85 years. Surrounded by his family, Fred quietly passed away after his third valiant battle against cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Eva; son, Ron (Dana); daughter, Wendy; grandchildren, Cameron, Jeffrey, Kimberley and Jody; and his brother Ralph (Irma).
Fred served the area for many years as an electrical contractor. He was actively involved in his community as member of the Legion (Past President), Elks (Past Exalted Ruler), Masons (Past Grand Master), and the Royal Westminster Regimental Association (Past President).
A celebration of Fred’s life was held Thursday, June 29, at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, 21299 River Road, Maple Ridge.
Flowers gratefully declined in favour of donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
