MEEK, Gary Thomas
Died suddenly of heart failure on Dec. 13, 2016 in Maple Ridge, BC at the age of 65. Gary was born on June 25, 1951 in New Westminster, BC. Predeceased by his parents, Alex Meek and Marguerite (Peggy) Meek and his sister, Sharleen (Heibein). Survived by his sister, Wendy and brother-in-law, Bruce Huddlestone, brother, Wayne, sister-in-law, Faye (Thorp) and brother-in-law, Brad Heibein as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
For 25 years, Gary worked for Interfor at the Hammond Mill. In later years he worked at Hybrid Nurseries in Pitt Meadows. In his younger years, Gary enjoyed going to the Pitt Meadows Gun Range and also duck and pheasant hunting with his many different dogs. He was always a very caring and giving man and will be missed by his family and friends. The service will be held at a later date.
