VANDEKAMP, George Calen Denby passed away peacefully October 20, 2005. Survived by his parents Richard and Michele; sister Erin; nephews Tyler and Sebastien; aunts and uncles Marilyn, Jacqueline (Bill), Gordy (Mary), James (Cathy); numerous cousins, grandfather Hugh (Mary) and many, many friends. Just 24 years old, his smile would light up a room, his laughter totally infectious, and his heart too big to hold. He'd want us to remember that smile, that laugh, and would cry if we remembered him with sorrow. His philosophy was, if you're not living on the edge, you're not living. He believed that life was just too precious to waste and lived each and every second to the fullest. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 1:00pm, at St. Andrews United Church located at 22165 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to The BC Children's Hospital Foundation in Calen's name because he loved children so very much.
