Passed away suddenly Sept. 21, 2007. Gord is survived by loving family ~ wife Lillian, sons, Dennis, Brian (Aida), Doug (Dani) and grandchildren Delainey and Sam. Gord is also survived by siblings Mary (Ron), John (Sharon), Jim (Olive), Patricia (Jack), Kathleen (Roddy) and an extensive family of nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly.

Our heartfelt thanks to Michael Savvis and his staff at the Rodos Kouzina Restaurant, Emergency Response personnel and the staff at Eagle Ridge Hospital.

Gord was active in a variety of organizations including the Whonnock United Church, the Conservative Party of Canada and the Hoo-Hoo Club.

After graduating from Queen Elizabeth in Surrey, Gord had a long career in the lumber industry. Gord was a generous, gregarious man who enjoyed a life full of family, community, and laughter. He will be missed by all who knew him.

His service will be held Sept 29, 2007 at Valley View Memorial, 14660 - 72nd Ave in Surrey (604)596-1593. Visitation begins at 1:30pm. Reverend Dean Boundy will conduct a memorial service in the chapel at 2:30. Interment will follow at the adjoining cemetery. A reception will follow in the Valley View building.
