BARRE - HENRI PIERRE MAURICE, born April 24, 1919 in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan moved to Maple Ridge in 1946 where he lived till his passing May 27, 2005 at the age of 86. Henri will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Survived by his sons Edward (Ginnie) Barre, Denis Barre, Daniel (Sandra) Barre and daughter Susan Barre, son-in-law Harold Sloan, brother Andre (Irene) Barre and sister Cecile (Henry) Bylsma, grandchildren Cynthia, Steven, Michael, David, James, Michelle, Kyle, Elly, Niki, Brandon, Teagan, great granddaughter Paige and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Diane Sloan, parents Rene and Madeleine Barre, sisters Therese Rallon, Irene Perillat and Germaine Gauthier. A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 3, 2005 at 11:00A.M. at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765-224th Street, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Barre family would like to thank all the staff at Holyrood Manor for all the special care and love that was given to Henri during his stay.
