SCHENDEL, Henry. We are saddened to announce the passing of Henry Schendel on October 19, 2013 at the age of 81 years after a brave battle with Alzheimer’s. He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years Evelyn, children Mel, Debbie (John), Cindy (John), Dave (Margaret), grandchildren Amanda, Angie (Mike), Jessie (Cameron), Ashley, Kyle, Cody, Emma and great grandson Mason, his brothers Harry and Roy, sisters Mary, Elsie and Lillian, his sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He was a devoted family man and was always there for everyone. He is now in heaven with his family there, you will be in our hearts forever, until we meet again. The Family would like to thank the staff at Holyrood Manor & 3 North at Maple Ridge Hospital. A service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11am at the Hope Lutheran Church, 3151 York Ave., Port Coquitlam, BC. In Henry’s memory donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of BC.
