JOHNSTON Hilda. On July 17, 2011, Mrs. Hildegarde Johnston (nee LeClaire) of Maple Ridge, BC passed away suddenly at the age of 58 years. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Richard, 3 sons Blaine, Kenneth (Alysabeth), Trevor (Lisa) and 1 daughter Tina (Larry) and 5 grandchildren, all of Maple Ridge. She is also survived by her parents Maurice and Theresia LeClaire of Kelowna, 3 sisters, Mary-Anne of Regina, Florence (Bill) of Regina, and Maureen (Mike) of Greenwood, and many nieces and nephews. Hilda was predeceased by her 2 brothers, Richard and Robert, of Regina and 1 grandchild, Jacob of Maple Ridge.
For Hilda’s many family members and great friends:
Since death its gloom,
its shadows cast,
Within our home,
where all seemed bright.
And took from us
a shining light.
We miss that light
and ever will,
Hilda’s place,
there’s none to fill
Down here we mourn,
but not in vain,
For up in heaven
we will meet again.
At Hilda’s request, cremation has taken place and no services are to be held.
