Labree, Ivan Charles. July 21, 1939-
July 12, 2013. Ivan was born in St. Edouard, Alberta, the fifth of six children. Ivan spent 35 years as a chef. He had a passion for fishing and hunting. Ivan spent many enjoyable hours fishing on the Veder. Ivan came to the Sunshine Coast in his retirement years, to be closer to his family.
Ivan was predeceased by his parents Norbert and Angel Labree. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his siblings, Cliff, Irvin (Sheila), Greta (Bill), Ed, Joyce (Don). 14 nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews. Ivan’s family would like to thank the care workers in Cottage 3 at Christianson Village. Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens. There will be a family gathering in August. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
