September 29, 1926 - August 22, 2021
Ivy was born in her family home In Vancouver September 29, 1926, she passed away August 22, 2021.
Predeceased by her husband Tom. Survived by her loving family, son Jim (Kim), daughter Ann, grandchildren Jarid, Sarah and Adam and great grandchildren Taylor, Wyatt and Madison.
Ivy was always the life of the party and full of zest. She never met a stranger, she made everyone feel welcome and loved. Always ready with a joke or story and words of encouragement.
We would tease her "go ahead mom tell us that again, we have only heard it 10 times". She would laugh and then tell it again anyway.
She touched the lives of many as witnessed by her large network of very dear friends. We would joke that you could not plan on taking a quick trip up town in Maple Ridge as It would take hours. She knew everyone and everyone knew her.
She was active in many community services and volunteer work Including Heart and Stroke, the Tri Hard Walkers, Maple Ridge Senior Wellness Clinic and Silver Tones choir. She loved to entertain, (you were always welcome to dinner), loved to garden and travel.
But most of all she loved her family. We feel honoured and privileged to have been your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You always loved us unconditionally and were the best Mom, Grammie, and GG anyone could have asked for. We miss you and love you always
