REBER, Jack. Was born a Metis-Cree in Prince Albert, SK on Oct 24th, 1925. He was raised in Cranberry Portage, MB by Frank & Elsie Reber along with his five siblings that include Louise (Aunty Mickey), Tootsie, Don (Dora), Pat (Rose), John (Barb). He was a hard working provider for his wife Joyce and 4 children Darlene (Graham), Lori, Randy (Mary), Wendy (Jason). He has enjoyed his grandchildren Daryl, Amanda (Niko), Michael, Billy (Alison), Jordan, and great grand-daughter, Lea.

Jack worked in the forest / mining industry and could walk the woods and do just about any job required. He had a deep love for his wife and children.

We wish to thank the Staff of Baillie House, the Emergency Staff and the Nursing staff of 2 West of Ridge Meadows Hospital and Dr. Segova for the care, kindness and support they gave our father and family. We wish to thank the grand children for their support. We appreciate our beautiful strong sister-in-law Mary for her guidance and love. Jack was surrounded with his family when he left peacefully on September 13th, 2011 at the age of 85 years, one month shy of his 86th.

A memorial talk will be held at the Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 11775 West St, Maple Ridge on Sept 24th, 2011 at 2:00pm. Tea will be served following.
