LINDSAY, James Kenneth (Jim)

May 30, 1954 - June 27, 2016


Passed away suddenly on June 27, 2016 at the age of 62, in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Jim was born in The Pas, Manitoba on May 30,1954 to the late Donald Alexander Lindsay, and the late Irene Louise Hill (Grant).

Jim is survived by his wife Valerie Lindsay (Frechette), sons Geoff (Heather Lilburn) and Greg (Jaren Lindsay), and grandchildren Tristan, Keira, Sienna (Geoff and Jill Lindsay - Parents), Scotty May (Greg and Jaren Lindsay - Parents), Sade and Jenna (Heather Lilburn - Mother).

Jim moved to Pitt Meadows British Columbia with his family in 1989 when he was transferred from the CN Railway to VIA Rail in Vancouver BC, where he worked in many different roles until he retired in 2013 after a 40 year railway career.

Jim was a very valued coach of Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association for more than 25 years, as well as several years involvement with The Pas Minor Hockey in Manitoba prior to moving to BC.


Please join Jim’s family in a celebration of life, which will be held on July 9th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Meadow Gardens Golf Course, 19675 Meadow

Gardens Way, Pitt Meadows, British Columbia.
