With heavy hearts we announce Jim's passing on July 23, 2019, aged 74. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lynda, daughters Nicole (Carson Power) and Tanya, grandsons Hunter, Tanner, Ross and Jimmy. Jim grew up in Vancouver, attending St. Patrick's Catholic School and went on to work as a machinist, estimator and in sales at CAE Machinery Limited in a career that spanned 40+ years. Soon after marrying, Jim and Lynda settled in Pitt Meadows where they raised their two daughters and made many amazing friends. Jim enjoyed a round of golf, his nightly Jeopardy, a good rum and Coke, puttering in his workshop and travelling to sunnier climates.
Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Maple Ridge. Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 1 at 7 pm, followed by a funeral mass on August 2 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of Jim to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.
