Jean Mulvaney (nee: Marsh) late of Abbotsford, BC passed away peacefully on April 25, 2005. She is survived by her husband Tom. She is also survived by her children Bob, Dinah (Phil), Patty (Andy) and Tara (Brian), her grandchildren Tyler (Natascha), Megan, Kelsey, Derek, Rachel, Jessica and Katie and her sister Dot and brothers Bob(Arleigh), Earl (Jean), Roy, Ray(Alvera) and Fred (Sheila).

Jean and Tom were married in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on October 8, 1955. During their 49 wonderful years together they lived from the East Coast (PEI) to the West Coast (BC) with many stops in between as well as three years in Belgium. As snowbirds they spent ten winters in Arizona where they enjoyed many of their favourite pastimes including golfing, dancing, playing cards and socializing with their new and old friends. Jean was a very talented lady who was an accomplished knitter and sewer.

A service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC. A celebration of life will follow at The Carlyle, 33030 Nelson Ave (George Ferguson Way), Abbotsford, BC.

The family extends its sincere thanks to the staff at B4, Heather Pavillion, Bone Marrow Unit, Vancouver General Hospital, and a special thank you to the palliative care nurses and Dr. Ken Kick in Abbotsford.
