SUMMERS. Jeffrey James. Aug. 29, 1923 - July 15, 2011. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a beautiful husband, dad and pappa. Jeffrey James Summers passed on July 15 at the age of 87 in the arms of his beloved wife of 65 years and beside his daughter Laurinda. He leaves our hearts heavy for he loved so big. Special thanks to the caring staff at Central Okanagan Hospice House and the love and care of Doctor Bystrom. He is predeceased by his Mother (Ada); Father (Frank); brothers, Grant and David. He is survived by his loving wife Olive; son Rory (Beth); daughters Susan (Ian), Cindy (Terry), Laurinda (Darren); 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; close friends, Rose and Steve as well as many more. Dad served with the PPCL1 - WWII Canadian Light Infantry in Italy from 1943 - 1946. He is and always will
be so loved and missed. Love you more.
