WARDROPE Joan
Born April 28, 1918, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord Jesus, on March 1, 2009, at Holyrood Manor in Maple Ridge. She died with her two sons and their wives at her bedside. She was predeceased by her husband Tom and two sisters, Nancy and Viv. She is survived by two sisters, Mona and Hilda, two sons, Bruce (Linda) and David (Barb), five grand- children, and thirteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Maple Ridge Community Church (20450 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge, BC). A public graveside service will be held at the Courtenay City Cemetery in Courtenay, BC, at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2009. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons (www.gideons.ca).
