McIver - John (Jack) Harrison. Jack passed away on Septemer 9, 2011 in Vancouver. He was the son of John Alexander and Gwendolyn Georgina McIver (nee Harrison) one of the pioneer families of Maple Ridge. Jack had a happy and optimistic disposition and brought music and stories into the lives of his family and friends. He always had a story to tell about a country music singer, a bit of local history or someone’s birthday. Jack led a full life and is survived by his sister Jean Seppala and his niece Lorna Seppala (Dave), Doug Seppala (Nicky), Robert Seppala (Diana) and many loving great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all of us. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Little Mountain Place for the kindness and understanding that they have shown over the years. A service will be held at Oakridge United Church, 305 West 41st Ave. at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the CNIB.
