PHILIPPE John (Jean) Marie
Born in St. Claude, Manitoba. Passed away suddenly on August 25, 2009. Late of Maple Ridge, B.C., age 81 years. Survived by his loving family, wife Pam; 2 daughters, Denise (Alex Boston) and Susan (Chris Ruttan); 2 grandchildren, Brenden and Curtis; 3 sisters, Sister Marie, Germaine and Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews. John (Jean) will be remembered for his strength, compassion and sense of humour; his appreciation of life's simple things, and his love of the land. Prayers Sunday, August 30 at 5:30 pm at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trk. Rd., Maple Ridge followed by Funeral Mass on Monday, August 31 at 11:00 am. Rev. Father A. Abundo Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer Society.
