PLATT John Henry. It is with sadness we announce the passing of John Platt on August 20, 2011 at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife Corry, his children Coraline (Jeff), Cindy, Belinda (Alan), John (Gurdeep) 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 sister. John was born in Vancouver and worked as a teacher in the Tri City area until his retirement. John was a devoted husband, father, grand father, great grandfather and friend, with a great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him especially his family. Special thanks to Dr. Chapman, the staff of The Madison Care Centre, Eagle Ridge Hospital, and the Maple Ridge Seniors Village. A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday August 31st at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765 - 224th St. Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinsons Association in memory of John Platt will be appreciated.
