It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) Lepore on December 9th, 2020.
He is survived by his life partner, Sue, sister Yvonne Hovden, and his daughters. Deanna (Rick), Toni, and Debbie (Trevor), step-daughter Michelle, grandchildren Kalie, Emma, Olivia, Grace, Noah, great grandson Hudson, step-grandchildren Ella and Lily and extended family and friends.
Born on Dec 20, 1940 in Vancouver, BC, he settled in Haney in 1960 where remained until his death.
Joe began his early career as a boat builder and most of his life as a commercial fisherman on the Fraser River and all along the coast. Throughout his life, he enjoyed hours of conversation with both family and friends at home and the Maple Ridge legion.
Joe will always be remembered for his ready smile and hospitality. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
