GRANT - Julie " Joyce"
March 17, 1911 - March 8, 2006.
(Just 9 days short of reaching
her 95th birthday).
Born in Whitemouth, Manitoba.
Joyce passed away peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital on Wednesday, March 8, 2006. Predeceased by her husband James Grant in 1995, her sister Beatrice and mother-in-law Barbara.
She leaves in morning, one sister Helen Kalyniuk of Cranbrook, BC.; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bun and Alice Kitts of Moose Jaw, SK.
Also left to morn Joyce's passing are numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Joyce had a zest for life, loved to laugh and enjoyed a good joke.
She was a life long member of Trinity Orange - Branch 981. Joyce had many dear and close friends that will miss her dearly, but none as close as Doug and Elsie Meldrum who were there for her each and every day - for this the family was very grateful.
The family would like to thank Dr. Karmali, Dr. Spittle and Dr. Irvine and the wonderful staff on West 3 at the Ridge Meadows Hospital for the excellent care they were able to give Joyce in her time of need.
Also we the family would like to extend our thanks to the Management and Staff at the Extended Care at the Willow Manor for there care and services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your charity of choice in Joyce's name.
