CARDINELL June Bernadine

We loved her greatly and will miss her dearly. June Cardinell was born and raised in Hammond, B.C. She was predeceased by her sister, Harmony and brother-in-law Buzz (Walter) Foster and her brother, Robert and sister-in-law, Lila Cardinell. She leaves behind her loving sister and brother-in-law, Lane and Jack Sharpe of Pitt Meadows, six nieces and their partners as well as their children and their children's children.
June worked at the Hammond mill from war time until her retirement - a span of over 40 years. She loved her job and did it well. June loved to travel and met many wonderful people on her journeys. Her favourite things were sunny days, her yearly vacations at White Rock, cats, butterflies and her family and friends. She also appreciated a good martini.
June's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Holyrood Manor for their extraordinary care and compassion, and Garden Hill Funeral Home for their gentle guidance as we move through this process of saying fare-thee-well to our dear June.
June's family and Holyrood Manor would like to invite all family and friends to join us for a Memorial Tea in her honour. The Tea will be held at Holyrood Manor - second floor on Sunday, June 7th at 2:00.
If you wish to make a charitable donation in June's memory, may we suggest a couple of her favourite "cat" charities - the SPCA or "Katie's Place".
