HERD ~ June (nee Gilbart)
Born June 7, 1928 passed away peacefully on August 3, 2006 at home after a valiant fight with cancer. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Alister, children David (Kerry), Tom (Lee), Donna (Harvey), Rick, Cindy (Peter), Quita (Robin). Survived by brothers Ted and Spence and sister Lois. Loved and remembered by grandchildren, great grandchildren and dear friends. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765-224th Street Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ridge Meadows Hospice Society. Special thanks to Dr. Yokoyama and the palliative care staff of Fraser Health for making her last days as peaceful as possible.
