It is with great sadness that the family of Karen Lucier (Irving) announces the sudden passing of this very special lady at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
Karen was born in Maple Ridge, she was predeceased by her husband Henry and brothers Ken, Al (sister-in-law Melva), and Stan.
She is survived by her three children, Fabian, Deanne (Bill) and Dennise (Rick), three grandsons Travis, Joseph and Kameron, greatgrandson Theodore, numerous nieces and nephews, her brothers Jim (Marlyn) in Vernon and Wil (Pat) in Victoria and sister-in-law Pat (Ken) in Chilliwack.
Karen will be remembered for her years of service at Riverview Hospital. Upon retirement she enjoyed family get togethers, her young at heart antics while camping and the many road trips to Vernon to visit more family and friends.
She will be in our hearts always and forever. Her door will remain open and the coffee on.
Celebration of Life will be held September 22nd from 11:30 am-3:30 pm at the Hammond Community Centre, 20601 Westfield Avenue, Maple Ridge.
