MacDONALD Kate (Kath)(nee Tallon)
It is with great sadness that her family announces her passing away on 12th February 2008, at the age of 104 years.
Kate was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary New Westminster Branch # 88. Born in the town of Suncroft, County Kildare, Ireland on December 20th 1903, Kate was pre- deceased by her husband Angus (Mac) of 53 years in April 1996. She was also predeceased by her 7 siblings and their spouses, Tom (Mag), Jack (Tess), Billy (Loreena), Mick (Mary), George (Chris), Christy (Mae), Bridget aka Ciss (Hubert).
Prayers will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday February 19th 2008 at St. Luke’s RC Parish, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road Maple Ridge.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Luke’s RC Parish at 11:00 am on Wednesday February 20th 2008 with reception directly afterwards in the church hall.
Following the reception Kate will be laid to rest with her beloved Mac at Ocean View Cemetery 4000 Imperial Burnaby on Wednesday February 20th 2008 at 2:15 pm.
Those who wish to attend the burial may do so. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Diabetes Association or Heart & Stoke Foundation in the name of Kate MacDonald.
