1919 - 2017
On July 12, 2017, Mrs. Katherine (Kay) Wynn of Maple Ridge, formally of Edmonton, passed away at the age of 97 years. She was a WWII Veteran who saw active service in the RCAF from 1943 until the end of the war. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ex-Service Women for almost 50 years, she leaves many friends and comrades in Edmonton as well as here in Maple Ridge. Kay was predeceased by her husband Alec in 2002 and is survived by her son Terry Wynn of Maple Ridge. No service by request. Her ashes will be interred next to her husband at the Northern Lights Cemetery, Field of Honor, in Edmonton at a later date.
