Suddenly, after a brief illness on November 5, 2009. The passing of our dear Kathleen leaves a great void in our lives. Predeceased by parents Eva and John. She leaves her husband Nick, son Nick, daughter Tanis and son-in-law Evin. A devoted wife, gentle mother, and dedicated nurse, Kathleen spent thirty seven busy years in Maple Ridge. For many years she enjoyed the family hobby farm with her pet animals, kept beautiful gardens, and was a talented classical pianist. She had a sweet nature and freely gave of her time.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Union Gospel Mission, or the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation (for the Leslie Diamond Women's Heart Health Clinic www.worldclasshealthcare.ca) would be appreciated. A Celebration of Kathleen's life will be held at the Burnett Fellowship Baptist Church, 20639 123 Ave, Maple Ridge, BC on Friday November 20 at 1:00 pm
