Kathryn Irene (Aten)
Passed away peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital, March 9, 2007. Born June 1, 1909 in Craik, Sask. She moved to Salmon Arm with her family in 1924 and in 1963 moved to California until moving back to Canada in 1998. Survived by her sister Eva Morton, brother Bruce Aten, daughters Eleanor Christie, Shirley (Dick) Lyster, and Marleine McGregor. Eleven grand children, twelve great grand children and one great great grand child. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 29 at 1:30 p.m. at the Haney Presbyterian Church, 11858 - 216 Street, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice, in her memory.
