MITCHELL, Larry

It is with great sadness that we announce Larry’s passing on Sept. 4, 2010 at age 69. Predeceased by his parents, Phyllis and Clayton Cure. He is survived by his loving wife Marnie of 33 years; loving daughters Debbie and Michelle (Andrew) and 3 sons Scott, Jason and Greg; 5 grandchildren Jamie, Cody, Sara, Christina and Tyla; 3 brothers Jim, Wayne and Joey and 1 sister Linda. Larry worked 33 years at Riverview driving his beloved BIG BLUE BUS and was loved and respected by both staff and patients. He always had a big smile and a natural charm that made him many friends who cherished his unique sense of humour. Wherever Larry was it was always an adventure or a party with him living life to the fullest. He enjoyed playing his harmonica, taking the family on weekend “spins” and having a beer with his friends. Larry will be greatly missed by all. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Maple Ridge Legion on Sat. Sept. 11 from 11 am to 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
