It is with great sorrow that Larry's family announce his passing after a long struggle with COPD. Predeceased by his parents, George & Kathleen and his brother Don, Larry is survived by his loving wife Joan, sons Bob & Brian and brother Bill (Bette). Also extended family Brandy (Fred), Karen (Jim), Mim (Stacy), Joey (Clair), Jim (Sylvia) and Lana. He holds a special place in the hearts of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his cousin Jan (Doug) and many other family members and close friends. Larry lived many years in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge and was a long time employee of Woodwards/Safeway as a meat cutter. He spent many years volunteering with the Scouts, Maple Ridge Search & Rescur and St. John Ambulance, receiving the Serving Brother Honor. Larry and Joan moved to Comox 6 years ago, where he fell in love with the community and enjoyed his short time spent there, despite his declining health.

There will be no funeral, as per Larry's request, however, donations in his name may be made to the St. John Ambulance or Maple Ridge Search & Rescue.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Konway, the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital and Eagle View Care facility for their excellent care and also a big thank you to Jan, who was always there for Larry.
