It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laurie Pedersen (Mayo), who left us peacefully on May 5th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on June 8, 1964, Laurie brought warmth, humour, and kindness to everyone who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents, Mitch Sr. Mayo and Ann Mayo, Laurie is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Wayne; her cherished children Meghann (Rajan) and Jerry; her adored granddaughters Jasmine, Maya, and Aria; her brother Mitch Jr.; and countless nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Laurie was an avid animal lover, always ready to open her home and heart to any stray in need. She had a passion for crafts and painting, and never missed a chance to enjoy a game of bingo with her beloved "bingo bitches."
Laurie's generous spirit, infectious laughter, and vibrant presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
