HOSKINS Leonard Michael “Len”
January 7, 1935 ~ January 12, 2009
Len passed away peacefully on January 12, 2009. Husband, brother, father, grandfather and best friend. Len lived a vibrant, full life survived by his loving wife of 51 years Gloria, sisters Ollie and Irene, brother Eddie (Shirley), daughter Leanne, sons Steven (Sue), Robert (Carolin) and grandchildren Matthew and Danielle. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Len started his apprenticeship as an electrician with the C.N.R. He enjoyed the railroad for 22 years until 1974 when he made the switch to BC Hydro where he proudly worked his last 25 years until retirement in 2000. Throughout his life Len enjoyed many activities from bowling to coaching his son’s soccer team and serving as Past Master in Composite Lodge # 76. Len’s love of life came from the fun and laughter of being surrounded by his loving family. We love you and will miss you. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
