On June 14th, 2006. Late of Maple Ridge, B.C., age 86 years. Pre-deceased by his first wife Eileen and his sister Irene. Survived by his wife Jean; 3 daughters, Joan (Denny); Diane; and Anita (Jay); 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Les came to Maple Ridge in 1932 at the age of 12. His family owned and operated Osborn’s Shoes which he continued until 1964 when he opened Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel. He was an active member of his community as a member of the Lion’s Club; Mason’s and Chamber of Commerce (Past President). Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 26th at 11:00 A.M. in the MAPLE RIDGE FUNERAL CHAPEL (Osborn’s), 11969-216th Street. Rev. Bob Goos officiating. Interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
