It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wife/mom/grandma/great-grandma & friend, Gwen.
Mourning her loss are her husband Peter; children Laura, Alex, Linda (Lutz); grandchildren Wes (Krista), Brad (Maria), Brayden, Coltin (Chrissey), Megan (Ben) Zack; great grandchildren Jacob, Riley, Jenna, Emma, Lily, Fenix. She also leaves a brother Terry (Myrna) and sister Yvonne, close family friends Sandy & Donna and many, many more friends.
Gwen spent a large part of her life in Maple Ridge raising a family and working as a nurse's aide. She lived in Salmo for the past 15 years with her husband Peter and a large, ever changing furry family of pets. Gwen was actively involved with the Salmo Legion Ladies' Auxiliary and the Salmo Hospice Society.
She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered for her generosity of spirit, love of a good get together and hosting many, many barbeques and Yuckafluxes with Peter.
