HANSELL Liz (Betty). Dec 27, 1936 ~ June 2, 2012. Liz Hansell was born on December 27th, 1936 in Vulcan, Alberta. She left high school to pursue a career in radiology and later took a two year course in England. After that she took a position at the Maple Ridge hospital where she quickly rose to be department head. Liz retired in 1995 and moved to Kaslo in 2008. Liz was an integral part of brother Bill's family. She developed countless friends and will be greatly missed. The funeral for Liz was held on Saturday, June 9th at the Kaslo Community Church. Donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated.
