McCULLOUGH

Lois Elaine (nee NOBLE)

November 7, 1925 ~ April 7, 2007

Passed away peacefully at Baillie House with her family close to her.

Widow of Bob (RB) (1924~1995) with whom she spent 49 years of partnership, adventure, love & marriage; daughter of Bert & Madeline Noble who moved from North Vancouver to Stave Falls in 1934 and then to "Haney" with Lois and her brother Doug (Dorethy) where Lois lived the rest of her life. Mother of Pat (Ken) & Doug (Clair), and in her most cherished role, "Nana" to Paige (Brian), Erin (Glenn) Jessie (Dan), Riel (Aliya), Mercedes (Tristen) and Arlen, and to hers and RB's immortality, Sahara, Skylar and Olivia.

Cook of incredible Sunday dinners, avid gardener, family apple pie baker, office manager & bookkeeper, den mother to rookie RCMP officers, member of Eastern Star, MR Ladies Hospital Auxiliary, Rhododendron Club, and a former volunteer member of the Maple Ridge Hospital Board, Lois was an all round going concern until her health failed her.

Pat and Doug would like to thank everyone at Baillie House who cared for Mom in her last days with compassion and tenderness, to Dr. Ted Ivanof who embodies all that is good in "Family Doctor", with a special thank you to Aunty Dorethy and Uncle Doug, and Auntie Ev & Uncle Ro, for their unfailing kindness to Mother, and for their love and support for us throughout everything.

A memorial tea will be shared with friends and family at the St. Andrews Heritage Church 22289 - 116th Ave., Port Haney, BC (off the Haney Bypass), at 2:30 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2007.

No flowers by request. Mother would rather a tree be planted in her memory. Donations to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
