August 2, 1946 - September 15, 2018
It is with heavy hearts we share that Lorraine (Lori) Helen Ambrosio (nee Krebs), age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 15th, 2018. Lorraine was predeceased by her sister Doreen (Ray) Conant. She is remembered by her loving husband John, daughters Julie (Chris) Fraser and Lisa (Brian) VanSchagen, granddaughters Vanessa, Samantha, Rebecca & Natasha, and brother Ken (Carola) Krebs. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and extended family.
She was born in Winfield, BC, and grew up on an apple orchard. After completing business college, she moved to Vancouver to work as a secretary at Dendoff Springs & the TB clinic. Soon after, she met John and got married a year later in Kelowna. They bought their first home in Maple Ridge and settled there for the next 48 years. She became a dedicated homemaker who loved and cared for her two daughters. They made many close friends through St. Patrick's school, skating and community organizations. She enjoyed making personalized cakes, crafts, and was well-known for her beautiful handmade cards. She was a devoted and enthusiastic wife, mother, nana and friend. She courageously battled asthma her whole life. Her legacy will be her example of kindness and positivity.

Prayers will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, 22561-121 Avenue, Maple Ridge, at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 21st, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 22nd.
