We announce with great sorrow the passing of Margaret Viola Leishman on September 19, 2019. She was surrounded by her family and friends when she peacefully let go of her life. Vi was predeceased by Sam her husband, her sister and brother.
Vi was a mother to Paul (Michele), Bob (Kathy), grandmother to Rob (Carla), Sara (Richard) and Nicola. Vi was great-grandmother to Sam and Violet. Vi was a great example of love and strength to all. She loved her dogs and cats, they were each other's protectors and best companions. She taught in Maple Ridge for many years, and touched the lives of many. She was a staunch member of her church, teaching Sunday School, sang in the ladies choir and loved the fellowship she gave and received. She was an avid reader and loved to share her knowledge.

Vi will be missed by all that knew her.
