WELZ, Margaret Pearl (nee Striker)
Passed away with her family by her side, in Maple Ridge, B.C. on April 12, 2010 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Ossie. She was our treasured Mom, Granny, Aunt and Friend. Born September 11, 1926 in Saskatoon, Sask. She leaves behind her loving daughters Connie (Dave), Leanne (Danny) and Janice (Keith), grandchildren Candice, Tim, Chris and extended family as well as many dear friends. Mom had a heart of gold and her door was always open for all to visit. Her simple pleasures in life included family get togethers and playing bingo with her buddies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank all the Nurses and Doctors of Ridge Meadows Hospital for taking such good care of our lil Mama. A Service will be held on Thursday, April 22 at 10:00 am with a visitation one hour before the Service at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969 – 216th St., Maple Ridge, B.C. followed by a tea and then burial at Ocean View Park, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby at 2:00 pm Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
