DELESOY; Marie Vitaline (Vicky)
September 26, 1925 - May 9, 2016
Vicky passed away peacefully at the age of 90, at Ridge Meadows Hospital on May 9th, 2016. Vicky was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, George; and her son Gerald (Jerry) Delesoy. She is survived by her daughters, Alice Allard (Jack), Rose Yalowica (Len) and son Andy Delesoy; a brother and 2 sisters; 6 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Vicky was born in San Clara, Manitoba on September 26, 1925.
In 1949, Vicky and George moved to BC, and settled in Haney (Maple Ridge) to make it their home. Vicky loved life, loved to sing and dance, loved to laugh, loved people, play tricks, and most of all loved to go fishing. She had a big heart and was very generous.
She was very proud of her Metis heritage and taught her family to be proud also. We love you and will miss you. We will cherish all of the memories of our loved one.
