MUNN Marilyn Watson. (nee Dunbar)
Aug 23, 1943 ~ July 16, 2011. With heavy hearts and immeasurable loss we announce the passing of a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Nan & Bill Dunbar and is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Fiona Bisset (Ken), grandsons Alexander, Graeme & Ben, son Jim & brother Bill Dunbar Jnr. She was born in Dumfries Scotland and immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1956. After graduating from Maple Ridge High School in 1962, she returned to Scotland and trained as a psychiatric nurse. In 1968 she re-immigrated to Maple Ridge with her new husband Jim. She was a dedicated homemaker to her family & worked as night nurse at Haney Intermediate Care Centre for 24 years. A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 5th at 2:00pm at Hammond United Church, 11391 Dartford St. Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission BC in memory of Marilyn.
