It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marion Ann Mooney on July 24th, 2018 at the age of 67 years.
Marion is survived by Gene, her loving husband of 48 years, her daughters Angie (Dean) Caughy and Cindy (Mike Aussant) Mooney, and grandchildren Gillian Caughy, Derek Caughy, Faith Aussant and Jordan Aussant. She is also survived by her brothers Douglas Harmes, Bobby Harmes, Earl Harmes and Ricky Harmes and many nieces and nephews.
Marion was predeceased by her parents Hilda and Harry Harmes, sisters Barbara Harmes, Peggy Young, Jean Cirtwell and her brother Mike Harmes.
Marion will always be remembered as being an extremely generous, loving, and funny woman, who also had a very competitive side to her. She enjoyed playing darts, and going to bingo, and had a strong love of animals. She cherished her grandchildren and always enjoyed spending time with them. She kept busy with crafts and crocheting, as well as spending countless hours gardening.
There will be no formal services by request.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marion's name to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Canadian Cancer Society, The BC Children's Hospital or the charity of your choice.
