It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marnie. Marnie was the eldest daughter of Sharen Parkinson (Anderson) and the late Gordon Martin. Marnie was the "Rock" of our family.
Marnie was predeceased by our dad Douglas Parkinson and our brother Rick Parkinson.
Marnie will be lovingly remembered and missed by, Her husband Vincent Saparamadu , mom Sharen Parkinson, her son Justin (Angeline) Martin and her 2 beautiful grandchildren Kieran and Liv.
Sisters and brother; Susan (Randy) Doyle, Lori (Len) Loran, Morris (Tracy) Parkinson, Crystal (Karel) Parkinson, Sonya (Ed) Bekken, Patti Parkinson and her many nieces and nephews.
Marnie had retired in June of 2017 from 35 years as an RN. The last 25 plus years had been spent in the maternity departments of the Mission and Abbotsford hospitals. Marnies' smile and love of life touched the lives of everyone she met; this was proven by the family and friends that were close to her when she needed them.
The family cannot send enough appreciation to the doctors, nurses and all staff on floor 5B at the VGH for the tremendous care that they all shared with our "Marno" for the past month.
