It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Martha Macdonald. Martha was born in Greenock, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1967. She resided in Richmond, B.C. until her loving husband George passed away in 1994, when she moved to Maple Ridge, B.C. to be closer to her daughter Gladys and her girls. She will be missed dearly by her daughter Gladys West (Mike Davies), Granddaughters; Shelley West, Charene Roberts (Mark), sister; Mary Coyle, brother; Ralston McKay (Jetta) as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family in Scotland. A Celebration of Martha’s Life will be held at Ridge Meadows Seniors Centre located at 12150 – 224th Street in Maple Ridge on Sunday October 25th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The family would also like to extend many thanks to the nurses of RMH (2West), McKinney Creek Hospice & Dr. Karmali & Dr. Chapman who took great care of Martha in her last weeks. Also, special thanks to her many friends at Panorama who made her last years a great pleasure.
