WILLIAMS, Martin David. Our dear Martin has left us suddenly on April 10th, 2014 after 79 great years. The kindest man in the world was a father to Nick (Emily) and Rosalie, and a loving partner and best friend to Marie Beaudoin of Salt Spring Island.
The youngest of five, Martin was born to Fabian and Joyce Williams in Maple Ridge. He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers Nick and Chris, and sisters Jocelyn and Jennifer. Among those close to him, he leaves behind Nick's mother Jo Lundstrom (Nelly), and nephews Oliver Coomes, Ian Ralston, and Evan Williams. In Maple Ridge he is deeply missed by Doug, Dorethy, Sean and Ross Noble. Martin moved to Salt Spring Island in 1979 where he will live on in the trees and garden he planted, and the house he built, and the hearts of countless people he touched. Martin, Dad, you will be dearly missed. We ask that in memory of Martin, you do a random act of kindness and donate blood to the Red Cross in his name, as Martin was a Gold card blood donor. A Celebration of his life will be held May 17, 2014 in Ganges.
