KOLOTYLUK - Mary. Dec. 19, 1916 ~ April 21, 2011. Mary Kolotyluk, age 94, passed away April 21, 2011. She was born December 19, 1916, in Wostok, Alberta, to Eli and Helen Tanasiuk. She was the oldest of 17 children. Mary and William Kolotyluk were married August 28, 1937, and they moved from Alberta to Hammond, BC. She lived in Maple Ridge for the rest of her life. She was an avid gardener and an excellent cook.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William, and several siblings. She is survived by many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is loved and missed greatly. The family is grateful for the care Mary received from the staff at Maple Ridge Seniors Village. Their kindness, gentleness, and genuine interest in Mary, especially during her last days, was a comfort to all. A private service will be held at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel.
