WHEATING, Mary Lou
Mary Lou age 80, passed away July 23rd 2016 in Maple Ridge B.C. She was born Mary Louise Diane McGillivray on January 9th 1936 in Vancouver B.C. to John McGillivray and Louise Hoyt McGillivray (nee Price). Mary Lou was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 60 years Donn on January 28th, 2016, and her brother John “Jock” in 1999. She is survived and deeply missed by her 3 children Tony (Becky), Holly and Dane (Vickie), her grandchildren Mark, Eric, Melissa, Mandy, Grant and Rachel, great-grandchildren Seth, Rayne, Colton, Trevin, Sara, Samiah, Camryn and Layla, and her brother Keith (Janet).
Mary Lou was a caring and compassionate person with an amazing heart, who loved deeply and unconditionally, always putting others needs before her own. Her family was always the source of her greatest joys in life. Mary Lou loved to travel (Maui and Las Vegas were her favorite places), watch hockey, her bowling leagues & shopping. She also liked to get away and relax at her cabin on Mahood Lake where she could read a book a day. Anybody who knew Mary Lou could see that she was drawn to sparkle, glitter and bright colors.
She will always be loved and never forgotten.
