Mary SULLIVAN

SULLIVAN Mary Eleanor. Born in Chester, Montana, April 1914, passed away peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital, December 2, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Samuel Sullivan. Survived by her daughter Heather Terris (Mike) and son Lyle Sullivan (Katie), seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mary’s family moved to Scotfield, Alberta to ranch when she was five years old. She became a Canadian citizen and later joined the Royal Canadian Air Force to serve in World War Two. After the war she moved to Vancouver where she met and later married Sam while working at the Vancouver Public Library. Sam and Mary eventually settled on a small farm in Pitt Meadows to raise their two children. Mary was an active volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary and at the Cottage. She was a long time member of the Ex Service Women’s Club. No service by request. Rest in peace Mom.
