on October 1st, 2006. Late of Maple Ridge, B.C., age 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Derk and son-in-law John de Jong. Survived by her children, Truus, Abbotsford; Tim (Jeanette), Pitt Meadows; Pete (Germaine), Perth, Ontario; Sylvia (Cliff), Irvine, Alberta; Harry (Judi), Berwyn, Alberta; and Minka (Sjoerd), Maple Ridge; 24 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and sister Grietje, Middelstum, Groningen. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 5th at 1:00 P.M. at the Maple Ridge Christian Reformed Church, 20245 Dewdney Trk. Rd., Maple Ridge. Interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Mom will be remembered by her family and friends as a gentle woman with a strong faith in her Lord, with whom she now resides in Glory.
